Welcome
Our Staff
I am one of those fortunate people who loves my work. More than a job, it is a calling that continues to shape my life. With excitement I watch what God is doing in His church and in the world He loves so much.
Family is important to me. Vicki and I enjoy our children and grandchildren; just ask us about them if you want a long conversation. My hobbies include hiking, golf, motorcycle riding, woodworking, and handyman projects.
Janine moved to Richmond Hill in 2009 with her husband, Russ, and their two children Ella and Connor, and began volunteering with the children's ministry programs. Beginning in August of 2010, she assumed the role as Director of Children's Ministry using her time as a volunteer as her guide. She has enjoyed getting to know the wonderful children of RHUMC and helping them grow in their faith. She could not do it without the dedicated volunteers that provide much needed support for this ministry. RHUMC truly has a heart for children and makes this program a priority.
Jack joined the staff in May of 2010, freshly graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Middle Grades Ed. Jack is a ball of energy who enjoys to spend time getting to know the youth at RHUMC. Some of his favorite pasttimes are playing sports, random outbursts of singing, and long walks on the beach with his beautiful wife Teresa! Jack's greatest passion is to see youth reach the full potential that God has for them now and not later in life. If you would like to meet Jack, his office is located left of the men's restroom behind the sanctuary.
Gina Stephenson earned a BA degree in Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has taught in public and private schools in grades ranging from Pre-K through 5th. Gina has been the director of the Day School since 2009. She has been married to Patrick for 19 years and has a 14 year old son and 7 year old daughter. Her family attends church at RHUMC.
Jeanne joined our staff in May 2011, with 15 years experience in music ministry leadership. She is a 2004 graduate of Georgia College & State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, and a member of NAfME, GMEA, ACDA, Chorister's Guild, Handbell Musicians of America, and FUMMWA. In addition to ministering through music and other worship arts, Jeanne finds great fulfillment in serving others through the RHUMC "Food for the Soul" Soup Kitchen and The Way Station. Jeanne is married to Scott, and between them, they have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. Jeanne's office is located in the Music Room.
Cindy and her husband, Michael, moved to Richmond Hill in 1996. They have two children, Sean and Shannon. In March of 2000, the family officially joined RHUMC and have loved being involved ever since. Prior to joining the church staff in November of 2012, Cindy served in many volunteer rolls in Sunday School, the Day School, and the Children's and Youth Programs. She feels being a part of RHUMC for so many years has been a great blessing to her family. Cindy has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
Lisa moved to Richmond Hill in 2008 with her family. She is married to Michael. She has two boys, Kyle and CJ. Kyle, who graduated from RHHS in 2014, is active duty Army, now stationed at Fort Hood. CJ currently attends RHHS. When deciding where to settle after her husband retired from the Army in 2014, they chose Richmond Hill. “We just fell in love with the area, and have made great friends here!” Lisa attended Kennesaw State University, earning Paralegal Studies and Nursing degrees. She joined our staff in April 2016. Lisa loves animals, and is crazy about her two French Bulldogs. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family when not at work. Her family attends RHUMC.
Peggy came on staff as the administrative assistant in early 2012. A life-long member of the United Methodist Church, she feels that God has blessed her life in many ways especially through the church and her family and friends. Her mission statement: show God’s love and compassion to everyone.
