Richmond Hill United Methodist Men are a creative supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to seek daily his will. Our primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relationships. "To be doers of the Word and not hearers only" (James 1:22) Men of all ages are welcomed and encouraged to participate. This is a terrific opportunity for making new Christian friends and for strengthening our service efforts. We meet the second Tuesday of each month, 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall where we enjoy fellowship, share a meal, and then have a program beginning with devotion. Purpose : The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; To develop a creative, supportive fellowship; And to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Circles: We currently have three UMW circles, the Circle of Hope, the Circle of Moms, and the Circle of Charity, offering a variety of meeting times, days and activities. All meetings involve Bible study, mission projects, programs and fellowship. To contact Dolores Derrick, President, CLICK HERE.
Neither church membership nor Methodist background required. A woman interested in UMW but unable to attend circle meetings may be a member at large and participate in UMW activities as she is able. A unit meeting is held quarterly. All interested women are welcome to attend.
The Joyous Saints meet the first Tuesday of the month and are open to men and women over the age of 50. Most of our events are covered dish luncheons with various entertainment, guest speakers, and fellowship. We have some off-site adventures together throughout the year as well.
